Ororo can normally be found hiding in Jean’s sleeves. She has a habit of roaming out and getting away from Jean every now and then. When freely walking over her master she’s very affectionate but can be overly protective. If she’s not fond of who ever Jean is currently keeping in his company she’ll start to bite the air. It’s rare for her to take to others and common for her to bite anyone who tries to make her.

There is very little Jean puts his mind to but when he does he becomes obsessed and heavily devoted. An addict to what ever he latches onto. Due to his passion he tends to become one sighted and only shoots for success in that one area. Making him a perfect example of selective learner and leaving him oblivious to just about everything else. Thanks to his particular habit of ignoring anything he doesn’t care for Jean often can appear to be abrasive. It just so happens he found himself in comics and other ‘geek-fad’ things he had been exposed to at a young age making him very brash with his enthusiasm. Almost somewhat a geek elitist, but because so few know near to nothing about that culture at Hogwarts he's learned how to deal with people who don't "know it all" like he would.

If one had to describe Jean they’d probably file him under very cheeky and in some cases bratty. Although he can be very disrespectful he makes it seem almost genuine which could be chucked up to his “honesty”. What some may refer to as entire lack of filter. Thanks to his confidence it doesn’t normally occur to him that what he said could he taken wrong. Confidence that he seems to be brewing an over abundance of, for what ever reason is beyond anyone (considering he can’t really do to much).

His arrogance would be considered his Achilles-Heel. Holding such great confidence and self importance often leads to him trying to prove such importance, which he can’t. In the end he ends up pursuing other means to prove himself giving him the unfortunate title of being a deviant. However if it goes against his superstitions (to which he has many of) he’ll talk his way out of the sticky situation he’s in, hopefully. For someone not so smart he has a great way of persuading others, or confusing them, what ever works.

⇒History:

Jean is the product of a surrogate mother: Cassidy Dakin and two homely school workers: Jamie and Lance Tims. Unfortunately for Miss Jamie Tims’ she lacked the ability to give life. To fix what could have been the Tims family’s downfall they sought out a surrogate mother, and so they met a Miss Cassidy Dakin.

And so it happened that Jean was brought into his world. Upon agreement, Cassidy was allowed to be a part of Jean’s life, one because that was the polite thing to do, and two because the school workers had actually grown quite fond of their new friend. Jean grew up rather normal, Cassidy was presented to him as his “cool aunt” who inspired most of his ridiculous superstitions while his parents made sure he did well in school. However for some reason weird things always seemed to happen around their house. Listening to Cassidy they moved out with the fear that they may be haunted! However no matter where they moved they were followed by these mysterious happenings, which for some reason, always seemed to happen around Jean?

It wasn’t until Jean had gotten the letter from Hogwarts did it all seemed to make sense. It took the Tims family, who were of sensible and muggle mindset to even agree to the idea that it wasn’t a joke, but the fact alone that the letter had been delivered by a grown adult made it hard to believe that it wasn't some elaborate prank. Cassidy was overjoyed, for a long while she had wondered if her magical skills had actually gone to Jean or if the boy really was just haunted… His parents were proud of their son, though, seemed to be somewhat worried. As time continued on and his schooling started to take precedence, he seemed to become more…rebellious. Although he still loved his mum and dad he was getting tired of the counselor treatment from his father and teacher game with his mother. He found solace in the magical world he was now part of and in his “Aunt”.

Worried that he was distancing himself to much from them, the Tims family started to delve more into this other world, buying “self help” type books when they were all taken to Diagon alley for his school supplies. Still somewhat weary of their son’s capabilities they tried their best to bring the family together. Often talking to him about what they had learned about the magical world and asking him what he knew. It worked for a time, but to this day Jean is still overly rebellious as they put it. They are just simply happy that their son seemed to find his place in the world and Jean is happy that his parents support him.

⇒Family Relationships:

Cassidy Dakin: Half-Blood witch and Jean’s biological mother, but due to how he was raised she is his aunt. One of the biggest influences in Jean’s life. Works as a muggle psychic (I.E. does the palm reading, tarot, the works) and makes a very good profit off it. Very eccentric. .

Lance Tims: Jean’s biological father and a counselor at a near by school. Very calm but also accidently condescending every now and then.

Jamie Tims: Jean’s mother and teacher at a near by school. Very kind and nurturing but also very expectant of people to be their best.

⇒Relationships

Anastasius d'Angoulevent: He tutors the poor boy on divination, the child lacks the touch really so it doesn't help either way, but it makes Jean feel smart. He often refers to Ana as little buddy.

• Not fond of being a ginger sometimes since his ‘parents’ aren’t gingers like him. But he figures he must just get it from Aunt Cassidy’s side.
